Mad-Performance (Mario's Auto Detail & Performance). Mad-performance is a Detail Shop combined with the building and tuning of 1G and 2G DSM's. For those that don't know what a DSM is, It's the joint venture between Chrysler & Mitsubishi Motors to become Diamond Star Motors. 1G stands for 1st generation, (1989-1994) & 2G stands for 2nd generation (1995-1999). It involves the Mitsubishi Eclipse, The Eagle Talon, and The Plymouth Laser, When it comes to working on DSM's. I only work with the turbocharged models. It can be the either the FWD or the AWD model. I've owned both. I've been working and tuning DSM's for several years now, and have gained great friends and lots of knowledge in the DSM world. The detail shop is a three bay garage located in Washington, PA. I've been doing work for local dealers in my area and by word of mouth going on 4 years now. I try to detail each car as if it were my own. I take great pride in what I do. I was employed at a detail shop and I enjoyed what I was doing and decided to go solo with it. Racing:
I am also going to get involved with racing my DSM at the drag strip this year.(2008) Since 2001 I've had the 2G FWD DSM and made it into a show car pretty much, I took it to the track once and didn't like the outcome. I purchased the AWD Talon but never got the chance to take it to the drag strip. Last year I sold the 2G to a guy in Georgia named Mark, and sold the AWD Talon to a local friend of mine Travis Boger to pay off some bills, after that I began my hunt for another 1g AWD which I ended up finding in Florida from a guy name Chris.
